Whether you’re working for a brand and find yourself bogged down with trivial tasks or overwhelmed by the demands of daily chores, it can feel like your artistic vision is slipping away. Even if you’re already in the industry, you might be caught in commercial projects that don’t reflect the passion burning inside you, with little room to explore the designs that truly inspire you. It’s frustrating, and it can make you feel like a lone wolf, battling against the tide. I’ve been there, and I can relate.

After over 12 years in the fashion industry, I’ve had the privilege to immerse myself in various roles, from fabric R&D and production at a renowned textile mill in Taiwan to handling materials development, factory sourcing, and production management here in Canada. My journey has led me to collaborate with some of the most well-recognized brands and innovative designers. Despite these opportunities, the journey was far from smooth, especially when trying to make your mark. More than once, I doubted my path. I always wanted to make a significant impact on the industry and in my career, but instead, I felt trapped.

But I was fortunate. I met my business partner in the US, and together we built a team that shares the same values and commitment. We didn’t come from a place of having everything handed to us; we had to build it from the ground up. And now, we want to share what we’ve built with you. We understand that the industry often favors those with big orders and deep pockets, but that’s not where our focus lies. We’re here for the emerging and the underappreciated, for those who have the talent but lack the support to bring their visions to life.
